Annie Marie's Story
I came back to Birmingham in 1976, after leaving in the 1960's. My ex- husband was military and we traveled extentsively. I have 2 daughters' Harriett Brown Johnson - James, who lives here, and Jacqueline Brown French who lives in Jacksonville Fl. I am the grandmother to 5 children, ages 16 - 2 years old. I live alone, in Titusville, retired in 1993 from the State Of Alabama, and returned to work in 1995 at the Biirmingham Housing Authority. d books,dance old school, talk to people, and just enjoy the life gifted to me. Growing up in the church, I don't care for its current culture or politics. I am Spiritual, with a belief in God, but not a traditional religious church going individual. I'm not dating, for I'm told by my male co workers; that I "don't act needy enough," and much appears or could be considered "as high maintenance." I don't agree, however, I am much old school in this regard! Well, there is much that can be said about this one wonderful life; however, this is a snippet of Annie Marie (Lanier) Brown's story.
